Who are we?

Bakken Attachments is owned by Joseph Cecil, a Williston Native that is always trying to provide more options for Western North Dakota.

Joseph graduated Valley City State University with a degree in Business Administration and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit.  Fresh out of College, Joseph worked for RDO Equipment for six years - selling Heavy Equipment learning the ins and outs of the equipment world helping customers all throughout the Bakken.  

​

After the boom slow down in 2014 - Joseph worked for several companies learning as much as he could.  Loenbro Pipeline as a field engineer, Halliburton as a Training & Development Rep, Capex Oilfield as an assistant Operations Manager, then to Butler Machine as a Used Equipment Specialist.  

​

Years of working for others, he always had his own "side hustles" helping his family grow Local Williston companies - Such as his Fireworks Stands - Madman Fireworks (Williston and Watford City), or his families' businesses Dark Acres Halloween (Tammi Dickerson), and Cottonwood Forest Pumpkin Patch (John Cecil & Rita) that have become staples of the Community.

Joseph recently obtained his Real Estate Licnese in ND/MN helping friends and family, and allow him the time to help focus on his families' businesses and saw an opportunity to bring well-built, quality attachments to Williston.

Williston has always had limited options for obtaining the equipment/services it needs and hopefully Bakken Attachments will be an added addition of convenience.
